Monterey Veterinary Center [MVC] was established in 1994 when Heather Ludlam, DVM broke ground in the very center of Monterey Township, Michigan. MVC is a multi-species veterinary practice that offers services to both companion animals and livestock. Dr. Ludlam, having raised her own flock of sheep for over twenty years, also frequently services small ruminants in the West Michigan area.
Dr. Ludlam is a graduate of Michigan State University’s College of Veterinary Medicine (Class of 1991). Both Dr. Ludlam, and her husband Mike are life-long Spartans and now reside on their farm in Monterey. Mike is a retired DNR conservation officer, and now serves as the Allegan County MAEAP Technician. Dr. Ludlam and her husband also have three children, Samantha, Xander, and Joe.
